HOSPITAL SITTER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 2 TB SKIN TEST OR ANNUAL CHEST RAY, OR BLOOD DRAWN TB TITER TEST IS REQUIRED, WITH A NEGATIVE RESULT, IN ORDER TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT. 
• 2 MMR VACCINATIONS 
• 2 CHICKEN POX VACCINATIONS (VARICELLA) 
• Flu Shot (During flu season  OCT THRU MAR )

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

WEEKEND ONLY CAREGIVER POSITION

 Love & Health provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. 

 Love & Health looking for a caregiver to commit to every SAT/SUN. WE ARE LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS THAT ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE HOURS OF  7AM TO 7PM.

WEEKEND ONLY

CAREGIVER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• TB SKIN TEST - REQUIRED
• MMR Test Required to work in the Hospital
• CPR/FRIST AID TRAINING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED TO WORK ANY STATE MEDICAID CASE.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
• Looking for caregivers that can commit to regular weekend shift assignments.
• Must be able to handle client incontinent situations, ex. Cleaning client and Changing adult diapers and helping a client in the bathroom.

• Must be able to handle clients in various stages of Dementia and Alzheimer  
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
• Requires a two-year minimum of experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO;
        Companionship and conversation
        Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
        Medication and appointment reminders
        Caring for several different elderly clients during a shift

         Alzheimer’s Care
         Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
         Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial  and very professional manner

• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Requires a two-year minimum of experience (does not necessarily need to be from a facility) 
• Must present yourself professional and speak to all clients/ families you come in contact with. 
• Must follow all policies and procedures at all times including the DRESS CODE requirements. 
• Have the ability to recognize changes in your clients and communicate that with the Coordinator in Charge on a daily basis.
